11 JULY 2017 / Launch of the new cycle of the CTY Greece summer educational programs in Athens and Thessaloniki, with the SNF support

On Tuesday, July 4th and Monday, July 10th, the Anatolia College held in Thessaloniki and Athens, respectively, an event, including a press briefing, to mark the launch of this year’s summer educational programs of the “Center for Talented Youth (CTY) – Greece”. These three-week long summer day programs feature university-level courses, complemented by leisure and sports activities.

The program is implemented in Thessaloniki for the fourth consecutive year, while in Athens the program is organized for the second year. The first “Center for Talented Youth (CTY) – Greece” is the result of the collaboration between the Anatolia College and the Johns Hopkins University, made possible through a substantial grant from the Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF).

The CTY Greece started its operation in 2013, welcoming its first students during the summer of 2014. Seeking to enhance academic excellence within Greece and the broader region of Southeastern Europe, CTY Greece offers talented, academically advanced students, aged 7 to 18 years old, with a love of learning, the necessary foundations, as well as high quality and innovative teaching methods.
