Lifebox Foundation celebrates its 5th anniversary in London

On April 18th & 19th, 2016 Lifebox Foundation organized an event to celebrate its 5th anniversary in London, to thank numerous supporters from the medical and philanthropic sectors, including the SNF, for their contribution towards to its mission.

Lifebox Foundation provides training in safe surgery practices and pulse oximeters in low-resource settings. Lifebox saves lives in low and middle resource countries by providing essential equipment, training, monitoring, and measurement to facilities and medical providers who need it most.

During the event Mr. Lord Riveire, patron of Lifebox and Dr. Gawande stated how much the adventure of the organization and the reasons for its successes rely on team work. Through a constant focus on patients, the organization has been able to improve the safety of surgery in numerous operating room around the world through basic equipment and education.
