On Tuesday, February 2nd, the Mortimer B. Zuckerman Mind Brain Behaviour Institute at Columbia University hosted an SNF Brain Insight Lecture, on the topic Socioeconomic Disparities, Children and Brain Development.

Dr. Kimberly Noble, a neuroscientist and pediatrician at Teachers College, Columbia University, discussed her acclaimed research on how family income affects a growing brain. She also presented the latest results of a pilot study designed to investigate whether a boost in monthly income also leads to increases in brain growth and development.
