The Mobile Medical Units Visit Lipsi

On February 28th , the Mobile Medical Units will visit the island of Lipsi to provide extensive medical services, free of charge, to the residents of the island, where they will remain until March 1st.

This is the ninth mission of the Units, following the visits in Kastelorizo, Amorgo, Kasos , Astypalaia, Psarra, Fournoi, Patmos and Folegandros.

The Mobile Medical Units is accompanied by a scientific team of the Olympic Village Polyclinic, which is in charge of implementing the program, and which consists of the following specialties: gynecologist, a dietician, cardiologist, dentist, orthopedist, ophthalmologist, pulmonologist and otolaryngologist.

The Mobile Medical Units aim to offer comprehensive health care services to residents of islands and remote areas throughout Greece.
