Awards ceremony by the Center for Talented Youth – CTY Greece

On October 29, the Center for Talented Youth – Greece held an awards ceremony in honor of the elementary and High School students who excelled in the special skills tests performed by CTY Greece and attended the special education program.

The awards ceremony was attended, among others, by the Minister of Administrative Reform and e-Governance, Mr. Kyriakos Mitsotakis, and by the Deputy Minister of Administrative Reform and e-Governance, Ms. Evi Christofilopoulou. 

The Center for Talented Youth (CTY) in Greece, was created by the initiative and the exclusive support of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation, in collaboration with the Anatolia College and the internationally renowned Johns Hopkins University. 

In addition to the creation of CTY Greece, the Foundation’s grant, through a significant number of scholarships, provides students who are in need of financial aid, the opportunity to attend the special educational programs. The aim of CTY Greece is to identify gifted students, ages 7 to 18, from across the country and to offer them a complete experience, through special three-week summer programs, providing them with excellent educational prospects, as well as the necessary foundations in order to enhance their love of learning and their intellectual development through innovative teaching methods.
