The Mobile Medical Units Visit Fournoi

On September 18th, the Mobile Medical Units will visit the island of Fournoi to provide extensive medical services, free of charge, to the residents of the isolated island, where they will remain until September 21st. This is the sixth mission of the Units, following the visits in Kastelorizo, Amorgo, Kasos and Astypalaia and Psarra.

The Mobile Medical Units is accompanied by a scientific team consisting of the following specialties: gynecologist, a dietician, cardiologist, dentist, orthopedist, ophthalmologist, pulmonologist and otolaryngologist.

The next visit of the Units will be the island of Patmos.

The Mobile Medical Units is an initiative undertaken by the SNF in collaboration  with the Olympic Village Polyclinic with the aim of offering comprehensive health care services to residents of islands and remote areas throughout Greece.
