18 JUNE 2014 / Press conference for the presentation of two new mobile units by KETHEA
As part of the press conference which will be held on Thursday, June 19 at KETHEA’s new Immediate Intervention Counselling Centre for active drug users, there will be a presentation of two new mobile units, which will reinforce the ongoing work of the Care Network for Street Addicts in Athens and Thessaloniki. The purchase of two specially configured and equipped mobile units, and their full staffing was made possible by an exclusive grant by the Stavros Niarchos Foundation.
KETHEA (Therapy Center for Dependent Individuals) focuses its activities mainly on therapy and offers its services to more than 3,000 individuals, users and family members, each year, thanks to a National Network that includes more than 90 units in Athens and throughout the country. All of its programs are free and include counselling, programs of direct intervention, therapy, education and training, social inclusion and finding employment. KETHEA is also active in the areas of primary intervention, education and research.
