On Thursday, May 17th, 2012, Jean-Claude Trichet, Former President of the European Central Bank, spoke at the Peterson Institute for International Economics on the ongoing euro crisis, its consequences for the common currency and the EU as a whole, and on possible structural and fiscal reforms to address the challenges.

The lecture was the eleventh in the Stavros Niarchos Foundation annual lecture series.
