The wildfires in Northern Evia in 2021 left behind hundreds of thousands of acres of burnt forestland, while also dramatically affecting local communities, the local economy, and the people who fought the fires. Following visits to the area and direct communication with locals, SNF immediately launched the Northern Evia Relief Initiative.
