Local organizations, scientists, fishermen, livestock breeders, and farmers are working together to ensure a sustainable future for Prespa’s environment and those who depend on it for their livelihoods.
A new documentary, Wings, Wetlands & People, tells the story of Small Prespa Lake’s wetlands and efforts to protect the area’s biodiversity and the important benefits it creates for the local economy and the local populace. The film highlights the collaborations, interventions, and new technologies brought to bear on the task of reed management.
