Llama Magic and Molecular Lego in Rockefeller University’s COVID Research

It’s a three-body problem: sourcing nanobodies from antibodies from llama bodies.
Among the many approaches scientists at The Rockefeller University are investigating to fight COVID-19 and the virus that causes it, one group of researchers is looking to the llama and an unusual feature of its immune system that may lead to new therapeutic and diagnostic tools.

As part of its $100 million global COVID-19 relief initiative, the Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF) made a $3 million grant to support related research at the University in April.
