The Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF) Brain Insight Lecture Series at Columbia University’s Zuckerman Institute aims to make the latest developments neuroscience accessible and useful to those of us who aren’t neuroscientists. They cover topics like how animals experience the world, teens and tech, nature vs nurture, the effects of “singing in the brain,” and much more.

The SNF Brain Insight Lecture Series is one of a few closely related educational initiatives at the Zuckerman Institute supported by SNF, which also include the Teacher-Scholar Program and the BRAINYAC program. The Zuckerman Institute is also part of a pioneering effort to find new treatment approaches for mental illness through the SNF Center for Precision Psychiatry & Mental Health.
