Fly Athens Indoor 2026 will take place at the Paiania Stadium on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at 19:30. The event, which comes with the imprimatur of Olympic medalist Emmanouil Karalis, is part of the World Indoor Tour (Silver) of the World Athletics Federation, making it one of the most important indoor competitions of the season, offering valuable ranking points for athletes’ world rankings. Building on the success of Fly Athens 2025, which was ranked as the number one street pole vault meeting worldwide for 2025, this year’s edition promises an even more thrilling experience for athletes and fans.
Admission is free for everyone.
The Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF) is delighted and honored to support the event as a Major Donor. The event is held under the auspices of the World and European Athletics Federations, the Hellenic Ministry of Sports, the Hellenic Athletics Federation (SEGAS), and the Greek National Tourism Organization (EOT). Our support for the event is part of a broader effort, since our founding in 1996, to boost nonprofit sporting organizations and initiatives around the world that promote values like cooperation and inclusion. In this spirit, as part of SNF Nostos 2026, which celebrates 30 years of grantmaking by SNF, we are organizing a discussion at the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center (SNFCC) on Friday, June 26, with Emmanouil “Manolo” Karalis, Giannis Antetokounmpo, and SNF Co-President Andreas Dracopoulos on how the values that drive athletes to overcome obstacles in pursuit of excellence also encourage them to give back to their communities.
