Inauguration of New Dialysis Equipment at the General Hospital of Kastoria

On Friday November 1st, 2018, the General Hospital of Kastoria inaugurates the new equipment for its Renal Dialysis Unit, acquired through a grant by the Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF).
The grant, which is part of the SNF’s Initiative Against the Greek Crisis, includes the replacement of obsolete dialysis machines and the procurement of additional medical equipment needed for the proper operation of the Unit. The new equipment is expected to upgrade the medical services delivered in the Hospital, as well as significantly improve the patient flow.
The SNF has also supported the General Hospital of Kastoria in the past with a grant for the purchase of a mammography scanner.
