Andreas Dracopoulos honored by Big Brothers Big Sisters of America

Nov 21, 2025
Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF) Co-President Andreas Dracopoulos was recently honored as a Changemaker by Big Brothers Big Sisters of America (BBBSA) as the organization celebrated its 120th anniversary.

During the pandemic, SNF launched a $100 million global COVID-19 relief initiative designed to help meet essential needs and support those who were struggling most, young people among them. A grant to Big Brothers Big Sisters of America (BBBSA) aimed to help keep kids at 15 BBBSA agencies across the country—from Birmingham to Bozeman, Southeast Florida to East Tennessee, Southwest Michigan to West Virginia—connected to their mentors at a turbulent time.

“Big Brothers Big Sisters’ work resonates strongly with SNF’s mission of always putting humanity at the core, and with our emphasis on helping young people grow, thrive, and broaden their idea of what’s possible for their own future,” said Andreas. “They also understand that working with young people must be a two-way street. We adults have insights grounded in hard-earned experience to offer; young people offer fresh perspectives backed by conviction, and we would do well to listen to each other.”
