A small mountain village in Laconia has the perfect solution: the NextGen Vamvakou Camp, taking place from August 25 to 29!
For five days, from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., Vamvakou will welcome 40 young people, taking care of everything: fun, food, and transportation. Activities and adventures centered around art, nature, music, and sports, specially designed for teenagers, guarantee that campers won’t be bored for a single minute.
The rapper Anser will be there to teach campers how to turn images into words, and campers will enjoy the village’s lush green landscape with many outdoor activities like yoga, calisthenics, survivor games, and drawing and illustration classes. They’ll watch the documentary Arctic Odyssey and have a live discussion with its creator. The week comes to a close with an exciting concert by the band ON/OFF!
The camp is organized by Vamvakou Revival as part of its effort to rejuvenate the village with support from the Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF).
