Three student teams, from six schools, both public and private, represented Greece at the 2018 World Finals of the international STEM student competition F1 in Schools, that took place from September 9th to September 12th, 2018, in Singapore.

The Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF) is proud to support the participation of all Greek teams that travelled to Singapore to take part in the contest along with 51 teams from 23 countries, by covering part of their participation fees.

The teams Alacrity Project and Nemesis ranked 4th and 10th, respectively, in the overall rankings!

F1 in Schools is a leading global educational initiative aiming to generate greater interest in STEM disciplines (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics), among high school and university students, up to 19 years old, through hands on activities, as well as to provide knowledge in Innovation and Entrepreneurship.

The SNF supported the participation of 25 public schools in the 7th Panhellenic F1 in Schools competition for the school year 2017-2018. The SNF grant has encouraged the participation of more students from public schools in the competition and their involvement in innovative STEM projects.
