Sometimes, the field is a literal one where careful tending helps beautiful flowers grow from the dirt. Sometimes the production is the process of planning, preparation, and coordination necessary to make a show run smoothly. Countless professions involve cultivating culture, and we’re invited to get to know several of them and their hidden dimensions through a new series of videos, Career Paths at the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center (SNFCC).

This project was designed and implemented by the Friends & Patrons of the SNFCC in collaboration with the teams of the SNFCC, National Library of Greece, and Greek National Opera. Eight professionals who work at the SNFCC and at the individual institutions it houses describe the scope of their work, the challenges they face, and the joy of creating.
