SNF Grant for the Support of Low-Income Families in the Region of Central Greece

The initiative Warm Home aims to cover the annual heating costs of families that require financial support and live in the Region, through the provision of a voucher for the purchase of heating fuel.

The Warm Home program is part of a series of social intervention activities implemented by Gefyra, with a grant by the SNF. These activities, which aim at relieving vulnerable social groups in the Region of Central Greece, also include the provision of emergency financial aid to local school students for the procurement of school supplies, English language courses, participation in extracurricular activities, as well as the provision of electric wheelchairs for disabled people experiencing severe financial difficulties. 

On Thursday, October 25th, 2018, SNF representatives were updated on the progress of Gefyra’s activities by representatives of the Prefecture.
