Press Conference on the Official Opening of the two Tourist Information Centers in the City of Thessaloniki

On Thursday, July 19th, 2018, a Press Conference was held in Thessaloniki for the presentation of the operation of two Tourist Information Centers (TIC) located in the center of the city, one in Aristotelous Square and one in the area of the Royal Theater.

During their first 30 days of operation, the Info Kiosks have served 5,400 visitors of the city, coming from 115 different countries.

The establishment and operation of the new TICs is part of the Visitors Experience program, initiated by the Municipality of Thessaloniki, and implemented in collaboration with the Thessaloniki Convention Bureau (TCB). The project is made possible with the support of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation, as part of the €10 million grant that has been allocated to the Municipality of Athens.
