President of the Hellenic Republic visits Ionian Center construction site

On July 6, 2025, the President of the Hellenic Republic, Konstantinos Tasoulas, joined by senior representatives from the church, government, and local authorities visited Ionian Center being built by the Holy Metropolis of Nea Ionia. The Center, currently under construction, aspires to become a modern multipurpose hub for religion, education, culture, dialogue, and creative learning, while also honoring the historical memory of Hellenism in Asia Minor.

The Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF) is proudly supporting the construction of the Center. Represented during the visit by its Legal Advisor and Board Member Georgios Agouridis and other colleagues, SNF made a grant for the construction and outfitting of the nursery school within the Ionian Center. The new nursery school is expected to open its doors in September 2025.
