New Organization Seeks to Empower Kids in Residential Group Homes

Oct 09, 2019
All children need care, love and support.
Life Evolution, a new nonprofit organization, aims to empower children 12 and older living in residential group homes through educational programs, sport and entertainment activities, psychological support, and much more.

With a vision for a just society with equal opportunity for all children, the organization’s work focuses on two age groups: teenagers between 12 and 17 and young adults between 18 and 25. Through collaborations with residential group homes, Life Evolution aspires to build confidence in young people, to provide teenagers and young adults with opportunities to advance their education and development, and to facilitate employment opportunities that help ensure a smooth transition into adulthood and integration into society.

Life Evolution was founded through a grant by Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF). SNF also supports the organization’s first projects, namely the implementation of education, arts, and sports activities and psychological support for children and young adults living in residential homes.
Life Evolution's first official presentation was held on October 9, 2019. Please read here the related press announcement (text available in Greek).
