On October 5, 2009, the Stavros Niarchos Foundation was honored by FOCOS at its Second Annual Leadership Gala. The event benefited the FOCOS Orthopedic Hospital and Rehabilitation Institute being built in Ghana.
The Institute’s mission will be to provide comprehensive orthopedic services including diagnostics, outpatient consultation and surgical care to adult and pediatric populations throughout West Africa. Mr. Andreas Dracopoulos spoke on behalf of the Foundation’s Board of Directors.”
