Athens Partnership, the independent non-profit organization established by the City of Athens, has created a video highlighting its projects of the past year, which the Foundation supported as part of its €10 million grant to the City of Athens. The SNF has supported, among others, the Open Schools program, the project for the revitalization of the Athens Triangle, the Design for Better Learning project, and the Athens Coordination Center for Migrant and Refugee Issues. These innovative projects, implemented by the Athens Partnership with the SNF’s support, contributed to Athens receiving the European Capital of Innovation award 2018.
