Mr. Diamataris in his op-ed refers to the SNF co-president Mr. Andreas Dracopoulos as having emerged as a leadership figure of the Greek American community in his capacity as head of the Foundation. Mr. Diamataris notes “the leading presence of Andreas Dracopoulos, co-president of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation, creates the preconditions for a true revolution focused, but not limited, on the crucial area of education of the Greek diaspora, one that has never before been realized.”
