Τhe Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center (SNFCC) was designed by the renowned architectural firm Renzo Piano Building Workshop and is a sustainable, world-class cultural, educational and recreational urban complex that includes the new facilities of the National Library of Greece and the Greek National Opera, as well as the 210,000 square meters Stavros Niarchos Park.
The SNFCC is the Stavros Niarchos Foundation’s largest single grant and it was delivered to the Greek people on February 23rd, 2017.
Following the delivery to the Greek society, the Stavros Niarchos Foundation continues to actively support the SNFCC having announced grants of up to €50 million for the next five years, which among others support the planning and organization of free programming that caters to young and old, families and couples, athletes, readers, artists and for everyone that finds a home at the SNFCC.
