VSO – Voluntary Service Overseas

Project support

To support VSO’s project “Providing Quality Education through Child Centered Learning in Ethiopia”. Through this project, VSO will introduce model innovative child-centered learning practices into schools in the Kolla Tembien district in the Tigray region. The schools will become a hub for good practices in education, and knowledge will be shared and applied to the quality improvement plans of the Ministry of Education at a national level. The overall goal of the project is to improve the quality of education received by children, aiming: to improve the learning environment and teaching practices; to increase community participation and effective engagement in primary education in all villages of the district; and to enhance transparency and accountability in the decentralized management of education.
