For support to the Riding for the Disabled Program. Operating under the Riding Therapy Centre project, the Program provides equine therapy to children and youths with disabilities such as autism, epilepsy and cerebral palsy. Horseback riding strengthens muscles and improves posture and coordination. Children who have worked with horses tailored to their needs have experienced a distinct improvement in their ability to communicate and a significant reduction in their anxiety levels, both factors that can contribute to the development of self-confidence.
