For the establishment and development of the Clinical Epidemiology and Outcomes Research Center (CLEO).

CLEO is a collaborative initiative undertaken by a professor of the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, along with the two University Pediatric Clinics, operating at the Agia Sophia and P. & A. Kyriakou Children’s hospitals. The purpose of this initiative was to meet the growing demand from patients, providers and policy-makers for evidence about best practices, used to justify and guide the management of pediatric diseases. Specifically, CLEO will operate as an independent center under the auspices of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens with the aim of collectively registering and conducting research on pediatric diseases, in order to define best practices for their management and to promote the diffusion of knowledge about best practices, and their adoption.
