Multilingual project “A Lexicon of Ancient Greek”
For translation costs for a German version of the multilingual project, “A Lexicon of Ancient Greek.” The goal of the project is to make the Ancient Greek dictionary available in printed and electronic editions on CD-ROM in five contemporary languages: Italian, Modern Greek, English, German and Spanish. The target audience for the Lexicon is international students involved in the study and research of Ancient Greek civilization, from the beginner to advanced university levels.

Founded in 1471, the state-supported Universita degli Studi di Genova is one of the largest universities in Italy. It currently hosts 40,000 students. The Dipartimento di Archeologia e Filologia Classica, founded in 1984, is one of five departments of the Faculty of Literature, Arts and Philosophy.  The department has three divisions: Greek Studies, Language and Literature, and Archaeology. The primary activities of the department are teaching and scientific research.
