For the development of a multifaceted educational project on the Greek legacy of mathematics and how it has influenced the development of mathematics in the West. Aimed at young audiences, the project will consist of six Masterclasses, each looking at a key figure in ancient Greek mathematics, a conference on the subject hosted by the Ri, and two specially produced short films featured on the Ri Science Channel.
Founded in 1799, the Royal Institution (Ri) is one of the world’s oldest and leading science communication organizations, which aims to ignite passion for scientific discovery in people of all ages, particularly young people.
