This grant supports the Rockefeller University and its round-the-clock research initiatives related to COVID-19 and the SARS-CoV-2 virus that causes it.

The Rockefeller University, founded by John D. Rockefeller in 1901, was the first institution in the United States devoted solely to biomedical research. Today, it is one of the foremost research centers in the world. The University is host to almost 2,000 researchers, students, and support staff dedicated to unlocking the mysteries of science for the benefit of humanity.

This grant is part of SNF’s Global Relief Initiative aiming to help alleviate the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.
