The Fund for American Studies

For the International Institute for Political and Economic Studies summer study program in Crete for college students from the Southeast Europe, the Middle East and the United States. The academic program equipped young leaders with the tools needed to promote peace, democracy, individual responsibility and economic opportunity in their homelands. The program took place in Crete, allowing students to benefit from the rich cultural heritage of the island and to develop a greater appreciation and understanding of Greece. Founded in 1967, The Fund for American Studies educates emerging leaders on the values of freedom, democracy and free-market economies.
