The Atlantic Arts Foundation

This grant supports the production of Hercules in Nemea, a revival of George Frideric Handel's oratorio based on Sophocles's play Trachiniae, as part of the 2002 Athens Festival; the production will take place at the historic Herod Atticus Theatre in Athens, as well as in the temple of ancient Nemea, and will bring this important play to a wider audience.
