This grant supports upgrades to the organization's exhibition and laboratory space, including the addition of an exhibition on navigation that emphasizes math skills, map reading, and history; and the expansion of educational programming, including programs on commercial shipping and ecology, all of which will serve SoundWaters’ mission to educate children and adults about the Long Island Sound and its watershed.
