The Hadjipatereio Center for the Rehabilitation of Spastic Children was established in 1973. It treats 120 children, from birth to age 12, who have been diagnosed with cerebral palsy.

The Center belongs to the Federation "Together for the Child," a group of ten non-profit organizations whose goal is to support children who face a life-long disability or a life threatening disease. The Social Work Foundation was established in 1967. The Foundation operates the Hadjipatereio Center for the Rehabilitation of Spastic Children and the Lilian Voudouri Supporting Technology Laboratory.
