Social Work Foundation

Program support
For the development and organization of a Bank of Special Support Equipment for children with brain paralysis and other special needs; for the funding of the tuition fees of children from impoverished families; and for the implementation of a consultancy and empowerment program for unemployed parents of children visiting the Center.

The Hadzipaterion Center was established in 1973. It treats 55 children, from birth to age 12, who have been diagnosed with cerebral palsy. The Center is a member of "Together for the Child," a group of ten non-profit organizations whose goal is to support children who face a life-long disability or a life threatening disease. The Social Work Foundation was established in 1967; the Foundation operates the Hadzipaterion Center and the Lilian Voudouri Supporting Technology Laboratory.
