School Support Program

Schools in Pella and Kilkis
For technological and educational support for elementary schools.

Through this program, elementary schools in less advantaged areas in the province were provided with computers and peripherals, audiovisual equipment and books of literature.

The program addressed schools that did not possess such equipment and, in contrast to their peers in the country’s metropolitan areas, have not been exposed to the use of technology. The program´s goal is to properly prepare and equip children for their future academic needs with respect to computers and the Internet, in addition to providing the means for course instruction through the use of multimedia.

The extent of the technological and educational equipment was determined according to the number of students and the needs of each participating school.
