For technological and educational support for elementary schools.
Through this program, elementary schools in less advantaged areas in the province were provided with computers and peripherals, audiovisual equipment and books of literature.
The program addressed schools that did not possess such equipment and, in contrast to their peers in the country’s metropolitan areas, have not been exposed to the use of technology. The program´s goal is to properly prepare and equip children for their future academic needs with respect to computers and the Internet, in addition to providing the means for course instruction through the use of multimedia.
The extent of the technological and educational equipment was determined according to the number of students and the needs of each participating school.
The 28 schools that were selected to participate in the Elementary School Support Program came from the prefectures of Pella and Kilkis in Central Macedonia. The following schools participated:

2. 2nd Elementary School of Aridaia
3. 2nd Elementary School of Axioupolis
4. 4th Elementary School of Aridaia
5. 9th Elementary School of Kilkis
6. Elementary School of Agra
7. Elementary School of Apsalos
8. Elementary School of Arhangelos
9. Elementary School of Aspros
10. Elementary School of Chryssa - Tsakoi-Rodonia
11. Elementary School of Chorygi
12. Elementary School of Damianos
13. Elementary School of Dorothea
14. Elementary School of Exaplatanos
15. Elementary School of Filoteia
16. Elementary School of Ida
17. Elementary School of Kristoni
18. Elementary School of Megali Vrisi

This grant, as all grants made in the Spring of 2007, is dedicated to the memory of Mary A. Dracopoulos, sister of our late founder, Stavros S. Niarchos.
