To cover basic operating expenses of the association, as well as the hiring of a psychologist who will conduct onsite visits to cancer patients living in remote areas and villages of the prefecture of Imathia.
Saint Parthenios was founded in 2005 by 20 cancer patients, with the aim of providing psychological and social support to cancer patients, as well as raising awareness about dealing with cancer. Currently, the association numbers 440 members. The organization’s activities are multifaceted and involve the organization of seminars and talks by Oncology Doctors and Psychologists, the organization of excursions and events in order to bring together their members, the provision of psychological support to the patients and their families, as well as the implementation of programs focusing on occupational therapy.
