To support an architectural exhibition, entitled “Piece by Piece”, in New York City, Padua, Italy, and Athens, Greece. The purpose of this exhibition is to educate and broaden the knowledge of architecture, through a selection of projects designed by the RPBW. The concept includes 24 monographic tables describing the story behind 24 different architectural projects through models, drawings, photos and videos. Some of the projects that will be presented are the New York Times Building, the Kansai International Airport in Osaka, the Center Georges Pompidou in Paris and the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center in Athens.
The Renzo Piano Foundation was established in Genoa in 2004 and its main two areas of focus are conservation of the works created by the Renzo Piano Building Workshop in the past 40 years, and education about architecture.
