Rencontres Africaines

Program support
For surgical missions in Africa, including urology, gynecology, ophthalmology, and rhinolaryngology missions that are each between one and two weeks in duration and involve a volunteer medical team of four to seven people.

Created in 1991, Rencontres Africaines collects medical material from hospitals for  use by other hospital centers in countries that are in need. The association also organizes voluntary partnerships with surgeons whose mission is to treat patients presenting complex pathologies. When needed, it organizes and oversees surgeries in France or Monaco for people whose health necessitates treatment that is impossible in their country of origin.
