The grant supports Randolph-Macon College’s educational program on the Agora excavation in Athens, Greece. The grant will be directed to Randolph-Macon student scholarships and to the office of the Director of the Excavations Program at The American School of Classical Studies in Athens. The Director is also a Professor of Classics at Randolph-Macon.
Founded in 1830, Randolph-Macon College is a coed liberal arts college. The Classics Department at Randolph-Macon has formed one of the basic components of the curriculum since the College’s founding.
