Poros – Trizina Nautical Club

Part of the Nautical Clubs’ Support Program.

The grant to the Poros – Trizina Nautical Club includes the purchase of a small supporting inflatable boat and two canoe-kayaks for children.

The Poros – Trizina Nautical Club was founded on the island of Poros in 1971, and is dedicated to rowing, canoeing-kayaking and water skiing activities in the wider area of Trizina. The Club has produced a number of important athletes, who have won acclaim in national, Balkan, Mediterranean, European and international competitions, as well as in the Olympic Games. It is worth noting that Dimitris Mougios, who along with Vasilis Polymeros won the Silver Medal in Rowing in the 2008 Beijing Olympics, is a member of the Club.
