To assist with transportation expenses in order for the organization to meet the daily transportation needs of the 155 adults it currently supports at its three care centers.

The Panhellenic Association of Parents & Guardians of Disabled Individuals – Mentally Handicapped (PEGAP-NY) was founded in 1960. The organization aims to assist people (eighteen and over) with mental disabilities in the areas of professional training, psychological support for them and their families, and social rehabilitation. Currently, the organization operates 3 centers of Social Care, Training and Employment, which include a variety of workshops (woodwork, gardening, crafting, etc.) and have the capacity to serve up to 230 people with mental disabilities.
