To strengthen the education programs by endowing the position of Vice President of Children’s and Public Education, which is responsible for all public educational activities at the Garden.
The New York Botanical Garden was established in the late 19th Century. It functions as a museum of plants, an educational institution, and a scientific research organization. A National Historic Landmark, the Garden boasts one of the world’s greatest plant collections.
