To support the Afterschool STEM Mentoring Program for New York City's middle school students. Developed in collaboration with the New York City Department of Youth and Community Development, with support from the New York City Youth Funders group, the program engages young students in hands-on, cutting edge science lessons.
Since its establishment in 1817, the New York Academy of Sciences has promoted the vital links between science and society. As one of the oldest scientific organizations in the U.S. and one of the most significant worldwide, serves humanity by advancing scientific research and knowledge, supporting scientific literacy, and proposing the resolution of society's global challenges through science-based solutions.
