For the purchase of six rowing boats. The grant will enable the Club to develop its operations further and increase its support of the athletes’ efforts. The rowing classes are attended by 65 young athletes who have received several distinctions in inter-club and Panhellenic competitions. 
The Nautical Athletic Club of Cephalonia & Ithaka was founded in 1985, with the purpose to introduce and promote the idea of sea sports, particularly to young children residing on the islands of Cephalonia and Ithaka. It operates swimming, sailing, rowing and diving divisions, which are attended by approximately 400 children, ages 5 to 15.
