To support the pilot implementation of the “Minding the Baby” service in the UK. This new service consists of an intensive home visiting program for vulnerable first time parents under 25 and their babies. It includes psychological, practical, family, and social support. This early intervention programs targets parents who struggle with a wide range of personal or social issues. The objective is to help them to care for their baby and cope with the challenges of their new role, in order to offer the babies the best start in life.

The National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (NSPCC) specializes in child protection. The organization provides community-based projects throughout England, Wales and Northern Ireland, operates a toll-free 24-hour child protection helpline, conducts major publicity campaigns to raise awareness, and lobbies the government in support of child protection issues.
