National Museum of Contemporary Art (EMST)

Equipment

The grant supports the purchase of equipment and needed final works, in order to allow for the Museum’s full operation and complete presentation of its permanent collections in the new premises. This grant will enable EMST to enrich its work and create an important cultural hub in the city.

The National Museum of Contemporary Art, Athens (EMST) began its operation in 2000. The Museum’s constantly growing collection is formed around a very important nucleus of works by Greek and international artists, that are created from the 1960s onwards. The Museum aims to present and promote the production of contemporary art, in various art forms.
