Program support

The grant supports the implementation of a plan which will facilitate the NLG’s transition and successful operation at the SNFCC. The specific grant will cover the development of the NLG’s collection, the creation of the Library’s digital services, the development of the services, policies and collection of the Library’s Public Section, an audience development campaign and staff training. 

The National Library of Greece was founded in 1832 and its mission is to collect, organize and disseminate to the public written products of science and culture that relate to Greece. The Library contains a large collection of books, journals, audiovisual material, portraits and manuscripts, an important number of which are of great significance.
